MARRIOTT BONVOY UNVEILS ITS 2023 HOT HOTEL OPENINGS ACROSS EUROPE, THE MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA
Marriott Bonvoy inspires wanderlust with an array of exciting new openings across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. MARRIOTT HOTELS OPENS FIRST RESORT IN DUBAI ON WORLD-FAMED PALM ISLAND
Marriott Hotels, the signature flag of Marriott Bonvoy’s extraordinary portfolio of 30 hotel brands, has announced the debut of its first resort in the United Arab Emirates (UAE): Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. Situated along the island’s golden Palm West Beach, spread across 7,000 square meters of white sand seafront, the beachside haven is a sophisticated destination for travellers seeking exclusive escapism, featuring 10 dining concepts, a shimmering 75-metre pool with four jacuzzies, a kids club, spa, fitness centre, water sports, and marine activities. Featuring ocean and sandy hues transitioning seamlessly from the outside inwards, the resort’s 608 contemporary guestrooms and suites offer floor-to-ceiling ocean views, private balconies, and thoughtful in-room comforts including a pillow menu, mood lighting, a top-of-the-range entertainment system, and large bathtubs. Interconnecting rooms reflect the resort’s flexibility and focus on family stays, and the spacious two-bedroom suites offer separate living, sleeping, and dining spaces. INTRODUCING THE “ART OF LIVING” BY THE ST. REGIS ROME
The St. Regis Rome is pleased to introduce “Arte di Vivere” – the art of living – a rich calendar of events, shows and initiatives combining art, music, and gastronomy to be enjoyed by both guests and locals alike. In true St. Regis style, the new programme is dedicated to the art of hosting and making guests feel at home. Centred around Lumen Cocktails & Cuisine – the beating heart of The St. Regis Rome – events come to life each week including concerts, piano recitals, and dance performances. Collaborators include concerts from Little Italy Duo, DJ sets from Lumen Society Nights and jazz performances from the Rejazz Dinner Show. Until January 2023, the hotel’s Galleria Continua will also host the Sognare exhibition from Belgian artist Hans Op De Beeck, who populates the hall of the Roman hotel with his dreamlike installations introducing surreal possibilities for a fantastic world. The hotel has enriched its epicurean experiences with La Credenza di Augusto 1894, a new space conceived and curated by Executive Chef Francesco Donatelli, in collaboration with Chef Andrea Di Raimo, dedicated to tastings of culinary products of the highest quality. MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL EXPECTS TO INTRODUCE MORE THAN 35 LUXURY HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD IN 2023
Marriott International has announced plans to introduce more than 35 luxury hotels globally in 2023. From Kenya to Singapore and Japan to Mexico, the anticipated hotels are slated to open next year in sought-after and emerging destinations around the world. Highlights include the introduction of the Ritz-Carlton Reserve brand in Europe, Middle East and Africa with the opening of Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve located off the west coast of Saudi Arabia and part of the country’s Red Sea project; further expansion of The Ritz-Carlton brand is expected in the US with two new hotels, including its first property in America’s Pacific Northwest region with The Ritz-Carlton, Portland, and The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, The Palmeraie in Arizona’s coveted Scottsdale area. DELTA HOTELS BY MARRIOTT CELEBRATES MILESTONE OPENING OF ITS 100TH PROPERTY
Delta Hotels by Marriott® has opened its 100th property, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park, bringing the brand’s seamless travel experience to the city’s gated enclave surrounded by landscaped gardens and near one of the world’s most important trade centers. Delta Hotels by Marriott now offers two properties in Dubai and three in the Middle East, providing travellers with more opportunities to explore and immerse themselves in the destination. Delta Hotels by Marriott, Dubai Investment Park features 248 spacious guestrooms and suites featuring the brand’s modern approach to design inspired by true craftsmanship. The new hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, spa, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. Dining destinations include Masian restaurant and bar offering international cuisine and shisha, as well as a dedicated evening menu of specialty craft ales and cocktails; The Hub, a coffee shop lounge area serving Lavazza coffee, premium baked goods and snacks, as well as prepared hot and cold dishes; and Pool Bar, with a selection of light bites and refreshing beverages to enjoy by the pool. AUTOGRAPH COLLECTION HOTELS MAKES ITS DEBUT IN POLAND
Autograph Collection Hotels has made its debut in Poland with the opening of Hotel Verte, Warsaw, Autograph Collection. Taking centre stage in the heart of Warsaw Old Town on the historical Miodowa Street, adjacent to grand National Theatre and the King’s Route, Hotel Verte opens a brand-new chapter for two iconic 18th century buildings, Branicki and Szaniawski Palaces. SANTA MARINA, A LUXURY COLLECTION RESORT, MYKONOS ANNOUNCES TWO NEW LUXURY RETREATS
Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, has announced two new invigorating retreats for 2023, with more to be announced in due course. From 18th – 23rd May, the first retreat will be led by celebrity trainer David Kirsch, known for sculpting the bodies of many celebrities including Jennifer Lopez and Heidi Klum. The schedule will include bootcamp sessions, power walks, stretching and hiking, cultural excursions and spa treatments as well as Q&A sessions with David to understand his philosophy. Guests will leave feeling not only restored and refreshed but with new insight, wisdom and self-awareness. From 16th – 20th June 2023, the resort will host Summer Solstice: a five-day yoga, travel and wellness retreat created by women, for women. This revitalising experience will take guests on a journey through the chakras, our seven energy centres located at different points in the body including the root, heart, and third eye. The itinerary will comprise daily yoga sessions, destination discovery excursions in Mykonos and spa treatments at Santa Marina’s Ginkgo Spa.

Marriott Bonvoy has unveiled the opening of two new hotels in Strasbourg, AC Hotel by Marriott Strasbourg and Residence Inn by Marriott Strasbourg. The two connecting hotels, located in the heart of the Archipel-Wacken business district, promise to bring a new, refreshing travel experience to the French city known for its stunning cathedral with intricate carvings, picturesque houses and the canals of Petite France. Only a 10-minute drive from the historical city centre, the cosmopolitan AC Hotel by Marriott Strasbourg will offer guests purposeful design and signature moments. The 170 modern guestrooms combine chic, urban design with the comforts of home. W VERBIER UNVEILS TWO NEW RESTAURANT CONCEPTS
In the height of its winter season, W Verbier has unveiled two exciting new restaurant concepts. W Kitchen has transformed into Bô! - celebrating produce, the art of taste and seasonality. Combining global influences with the best of the region, each dish at Bô! tells an intriguing story with creativity taking centre stage. Creations from Chef Emiliano Vignoni include underground culinary treasures and root vegetables. Guests are invited to savour a vibrant, contemporary and multicultural signature cuisine that translates into emotion and creates a sense of sharing. Also, this month, W Verbier’s Carve restaurant re-opened as U-Yama Sushi Bar, where chef Suroj Maharjan will treat guests to an immersion in Japanese cuisine. MARRIOTT HOTELS OPENS NEW HOTEL IN CASABLANCA, MOROCCO
Marriott Hotels has opened the doors of its newest hotel in Casablanca marking the brand’s debut in Morocco. Located on Casablanca’s grand Boulevard des FAR, Casablanca Marriott Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Casa-Port train station, restaurants and exciting tourist attractions including the Marché Central and the famous Cinéma Rif. The hotel features 305 guestrooms, including 31 suites, that have been thoughtfully designed around guests needs creating sophisticated spaces. Casablanca Marriott Hotel offers an array of dining experiences including BAB Restaurant, serving international and Moroccan dishes throughout the day, BAB Terrace Lounge, Le Meating Steakhouse, a cocktail bar and coffee shop.
