THE RED SEA EDITION OPENS AS THE FIRST HOTEL ON SHURA ISLAND, PIONEERING A NEW ERA OF HOSPITALITY IN SAUDI ARABIA
Set along the white sand shores of Shura Island on Saudi Arabia’s western coastline, EDITION Hotels has revealed its second property in the kingdom with the opening of The Red Sea EDITION, following the brand's debut in Jeddah last year. The property is nestled along a kilometre of private beachfront with sweeping, uninterpreted views across The Red Sea’s turquoise waters and the lush greenery of Shura Links, Saudi Arabia’s first 18-hole island golf course. The 240-room resort blends contemporary design with ecological sensitivity, powered entirely by solar energy, featuring natural materials and coral-inspired architecture. Guests enjoy private plunge pools, immersive indoor-outdoor spaces, and intuitive service. Culinary highlights include The Lobby, a sophisticated all-day space that evolves from morning coffee to evening tea-based mocktails, Central, offering modern New American cuisine, and JIWA Beach Club, a Bali-inspired venue led by Indonesian chefs. ANASA, opening soon, will showcase Aegean flavours curated by Saudi chef Basma Elkhereiji. Wellness offerings include a spa with Omorovicza and Le Labo treatments, a Recovery Dome, and hydrothermal therapies. Activities range from desert hikes and watersports to tennis and paddle courts. The Red Sea EDITION’s event spaces span over 1,000 square metres, including a ballroom with ocean views. Accessible via Red Sea International Airport, the hotel is part of Red Sea Global’s regenerative tourism vision, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

RENAISSANCE PORTO LAPA HOTEL UNVEILS NEW WING WITH ELEVATED WELLNESS OFFERINGS
Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel has expanded with a new wing, introducing 78 new guestrooms, a spa, gym, and an indoor pool to its offerings.
